Working with people is my passion. I have always been fascinated by the human mind, learning how it works and understanding its full potential. My values and beliefs are straightforward, and that is to help you the client, to understand and overcome limiting beliefs and personal challenges. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the positive change we can make together in your life, whether this is on a personal or professional level. I do what I do because I believe I can help. We all have the power to overcome challenges that may affect us.
I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming after having completed my training at the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis under the guidance of Adam Eason. A Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis, Higher Practitioners Diploma and NLP Practitioners Certificate means I have a complete understanding of Hypnotherapy and its benefits.
With my dedicated help and your positive attitude, we can work together to help reduce or remove your challenge. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. It is going to take your determination and self-belief, which is something I will train you to achieve. Treat the therapy as an investment in yourself.
Most of us wish that there was at least one part of our life that we could change. This could be something of a personal nature such as overcoming fear, breaking a habit, overcoming anxiety or increasing self-confidence, or of a professional nature linked to a career move or goal you wish to achieve. My advanced skills can help you on your journey of change or merely help you to overcome those challenges you may face in your life.
I choose to work with only a handful of clients at a time, so I can provide dedicated help and support using methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH). I tend to use NLP alongside hypnotherapy as this gives you a good understanding of how to tackle your challenge. Therefore, hypnosis may not be used throughout every session.
My previous careers have also been client based, serving the general public in managerial roles. I never felt I had reached my full potential and over the years this became frustrating, feeling less and less satisfied with my career. I finally decided to make a change myself and train as a hypnotherapist to set up my own business, giving me the opportunity to use my time and energy to help others.
As a member of two of the main hypnotherapy associations; Professional Hypnotherapy Network (PHN) and the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH), I have a strict code of conduct to adhere to (https://www.hypnotherapists.org.uk/about-nch/code-of-ethics) and a support network in place, should it be needed. I undergo a Continual Professional Development and am fully committed to increasing my skills and knowledge by attending relevant training courses, forums & meetings.
